Cardigan revisited

I love cardigans. The first inspiration album I ever made was about cardigans. But over the past five years, my perspective has changed a bit. So I thought it would be worthwhile to make a new album to share a new perspective. I then divided it into five sections.

  • The classic ribbed shawl collar cardigan has a classic style – solid color, chunky ribbed knit – that fits perfectly into the casual end of a classic menswear wardrobe, but in reality it can be worn in many different ways. Can be worn.
  • The Cowichan cardigan and similar patterns, especially RRL’s great pieces, fit very well with Western themes as a Native American style, and are very nice overall.
  • I think mohair cardigans look cool with funky prints and colorful styles. This may feel like a hypebeast option, but that’s not a bad thing.
  • Coogi Cardigans, a short but interesting section.
  • Other textures and patterns like cable knit, patchwork, argyle…

It’s good to remember that you can right-click and save any photo on this blog, and the file name usually includes details that you may find useful. Please note that this article contains some affiliate links.

So, generally speaking, over the past five years I’ve kind of rejected minimalism and accepted that funky, interesting clothes can be great. But not all clothes have to be funky.

This thick rib knit shawl collar cardigan is simple yet beautiful. It is the essence of coziness in its typical form. The main reason I want to be rich is so I can wear a $1,000 12-ply cashmere shawl collar cardigan around the house all day every day and not have to worry about it pilling or anything. That is my goal in life.

Where can I buy a shawl collar cardigan?

A Native American tradition, Cowichan-style cardigans fit perfectly into Western themes and also bring a classic casual style vibe. Cool, meaningful and not minimalist or Experimental and time-tested, yet bold.

Cowichan also has cable knit ones. Some have buttons, belts, or zippers. Sometimes patterns are used in different contexts.

Where can I get Cowichan style sweaters

In my opinion, mohair is an opportunity to have fun. A solid mohair cardigan would also work, but I wouldn’t list it here as inspiration. A culture of fuzz, seasonal shoulders, a touch of sheen and hype makes it the perfect opportunity to find the funkiest patterns.

Mohair is perfect for spring and fall. It’s so breathable and cool that I can’t explain it without trying it on. Some people find it itchy, but I don’t think that’s an entirely appropriate way to describe the wearing experience. There’s a certain comfort to it.

Where can I get a mohair cardigan

  • Supreme feels like it would be a waste to link to the website given its drop pattern.
  • Nepenthes brands such as Needles and South2West8.
  • Todd Snyder, The current selection of mohair cardigans doesn’t really appeal to me… but I prefer this argyle mohair polo. There’s also an alpaca option, which is reminiscent of mohair.
  • Marni introduces new items every season.

This will be a short section. I’m not a fan of these maximalist sweaters, but I really like them when done well. Just like Madras, I think it looks best when layered carefully. I also think it speaks to some kind of sense of nostalgia, since Bill Cosby never wore Koozies, although the reason is not entirely clear.

This is literally just a brand name.
