Knee-high boots – you can judge a man with his boots
In 2013, I sent a tweet requesting images of the next knee high boot article. My tweets have been shared many times, but there was only one response from @styledevision. There are fine lines between the unique and the cumbersome and the gentleman. High-knee boots are either a big trend this winter or not a trend at all.
Questions remain. Can men wear high-knee boots with confidence or are they trapped in oblivion?
I’ve never seen anyone other than actor Pedro Pascal in 2025.
London Collection: Men, I stood up to David Gandy with this very question. JW Anderson’s catwalk had just paraded men in high-knee boots, but I wanted to know. How are these bold statements translated into everyday wardrobes? response? A mixture of confusion, entertainment, and heavy hesitation. The real question is not whether high-knee boots can work for men. The problem is that most men don’t know how and where to wear it.
I took this inquiry to the most honest critic I’ve found: a 6 year old girl. She showed the image of a man in his knee-high boots, and she laughed and said, “They look interesting and dressed like girls.” Her reasoning? “Because men don’t wear dresses or any such boots.” And it is – symbolized from an early age, society decides what men are not acceptable to wear. But should these outdated perceptions make our fashion choices decide?
Knee High Boots Art
My followers sent me a self-portrait of myself in knee-high boots. He nailed it – confidence, calmness and a bold rejection of social norms. If you are considering high-knee boots but don’t have the courage, take the page from his book. Owns the exterior.
Massimo Dutti enlisted David Gandy to showcase his equestrian aesthetic knee high boots. But I am skeptical that even Gandhi himself can convince the average man to walk the high streets within them. After all, I have not yet seen Mr. Gandy casually strolling in his knee-high boots. If he doesn’t do that, what hope is there for the rest?
My first article on knee high boots was a hit published over a year ago. Now, this is my third attempt to encourage men to embrace trends. Whether mounted on a horse, riding a bike or off the Jaguar, knee-high boots exudes power and elegance. But where is the brave soul ready to defend this appearance?
For goodness, send me your picture! Show me how you wear them. Or it’s time to stage your own photo shoot. By way of example, it will ultimately encourage men to walk around confidently in high-knee boots this winter.
It’s dare not. Or at least, it can be seen on purpose.

There are fine lines between unique and exaggerated things
Important comments from men about high-knee boots resonated deeply. It has unique and cumbersome boundaries. But what does your boots say about you? Can you judge a man by his boots? absolutely. This is exactly why no one dared to send me an image of myself wearing knee-heavy boots. The fear of judgment is upon us.
Menstylefashion is always about encouraging men to embrace style and push beyond expectations. It’s not right or wrong, it’s about defining yourself through fashion. Clothing is an extension of who you are and visually declares how boldly you chose any day. Fashion is not about fit. It’s about confidence. I don’t follow the trend. I never have and I never do. I don’t care what other people think about my fashion sense, as the real challenge is not about trends, but about getting out of your comfort zone.
