suitable for airports
Many celebrities seem obsessed with what they wear to the airport. I didn’t understand the hype at all. But I have a few favorites. Not all of the 90’s, but organized by decade. Some airports do.
I’ve never been a “celebrity” type of person.
I rather like watching ordinary people try something new or my friends build something unique. But show me a whole article about how great Jacob Elordi’s regular jeans are. I’m so confused about how people do worship Celebrities. No, buying the same T-shirt as Jeremy doesn’t make you Jeremy. And it’s weird that you’re trying to do that. Let the singer sing. Let the actors act.
Maybe that’s why I’ve never very I understand the hype surrounding the “Airport Fit.” I find that they present celebrities in a more casual light. I understand that they look “natural”, but I don’t think many of them are. At the peak of this phenomenon (the late ’80s and most of the ’90s), celebrities treated airports like another runway, knowing and counting on being photographed. But most of them still don’t seem special to me.
That being said, I have a few favorites. Some are simple but have great silhouettes. Some of them are really interesting and I think there are lessons to be learned here. I have a lot to show you, but nothing more to say. Get ready for pure inspiration.
LOL, I haven’t gotten anything in the last 10 years. Please leave a comment or something.
We may update some of the above in the future. Obviously some sections are a little short.
Much of this inspiration came from existing repositories of airport compatible products, including Instagram accounts such as @airport.looks. I put this inspiration together for a long time so I can’t remember all the sources, but if I find some other great batches I’ll list them here.
Finally… In general, I recommend saving your inspiration and organizing it in a way that makes sense to you. Do you want to separate casual clothing, smart casual, and casual tailoring? Or do you want to separate rugged, outdoor types from sophisticated, urban types? I don’t know. I’ll think about it for a moment. It’s nice to have some inspiration.
