Deewane Huye Paagal

Directed by Vikram Bhatt, Deewane Huye Paagal is a Bollywood romantic comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Rimi Sen, and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles, while Aftab Shivdasani, Vivek Oberoi, Johnny Lever, Om Puri, and many others appear in smaller roles. Said to have been inspired by There’s Something About Mary, this 2005 film did not have a successful box office tryst, but its light-hearted humour and entertaining storyline had the audience in splits. The catchy background score by Anu Malik garnered sufficient attention in the music industry. This film was produced by Firoz A Nadiadwala and was shot alternatively in Mumbai and Dubai.
