Many people probably associate me with the classic style of menswear, vintage, and the basic principles of personal style. However, I see clothes as a special medium for art. Every once in a while, I’d like to feature one of these shows. This year, that show is IM Men’s Fall/Winter 2026/27 show “Formless Form”.

Issey Miyake may be known for its patented fabric “Pleats Please,” sold in mainstream designer fashion or under various sublabels. But the company has a spirit of experimentation and innovation that has spawned more labels than you might realize. im male,

The show’s color progression is clear, but when viewed throughout the day, each segment depicts its own silhouettes, textures, and techniques. “Dawn” involves a transition between bright blue and yellow. Kasuri encompasses not only the traditional weaving technique of the same name, but also the deliberate misalignment and asymmetry of textiles to show the imperfections resulting from human contact. “Clay” involves cloth, which I can’t even explain…luckily, they explain this better than I can. So, without further ado, I thought I’d share some of my favorite looks.

Here’s a collection of seasonal inspiration. Yes, I started Substack. The posts there are going to be relatively lazy, and many of them will be rehashings of things I’ve posted elsewhere, but I’ll be posting there often, so it’ll probably work out pretty well, right?Still, this blog is the main thing for me. If you are a paid subscriber here, I would like to gift you a subscription as well. But not the other way around. Anyway…

And I still look forward to some of the shows, especially Valentino.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
